Privacy Policy

Pick'em is a private pick'em app for college football, golf, MLB, and NFL survivor pools. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and who can see it.

What we collect

• Name — your first and last name, provided when you create your account.
• Email address — provided by your Google or Apple sign-in and stored with your account.
• Team name — a display name you choose during setup.
• Pick selections — the game picks you submit each week.
• Push notification token — a device identifier used to send you game reminders. Stored only if you grant notification permission.

What we do not collect

• Passwords (sign-in is handled entirely by Google or Apple)
• Payment or financial information
• Location data
• Contacts or photos
• Device identifiers beyond the push notification token

How your information is used

• Name and team name are displayed on leaderboards to other members of your groups.
• Email address is used to identify your account and is not displayed to other users.
• Pick selections are visible to other members of any group you join after the submission deadline passes.
• Push notification token is used only to send weekly game reminders and result notifications. You can disable these at any time in your device settings.

Third-party services

• Google Sign-In — used for account authentication. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

• Firebase (Google) — used to store account data, picks, and group information. Firebase privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Data sharing

Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or any third party beyond the services listed above. Pick selections are shared only with other members of groups you have explicitly joined.

Data retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

Push notifications

If you grant notification permission, your device token is stored to send you reminders about pick deadlines and weekly results. You can revoke permission at any time in your device settings, and no further notifications will be sent.

Children

Pick'em is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date at the top.
